24 hour run, 130km

Around the clock on Saturday the 25th of February as parents we committed to run/walk for 24hrs. Chan(Mum) 5am-5pm

Strodie (Dad) 5pm-5am.

We decided to do this for everyone who is

helping us, you guys, the ones sending the emails, leaving the comments on @lifeatriotinto, the ones asking these people at Rio Tinto to answer our questions. We think it's not fair to to just ask you to help fight our battle, so we wanted to show you that we

are willing to do the hard yards also.

So this is what we did non stop, 24hrs.

Chan ran 70.77km from 5am-5pm

Strodie ran around 60km from 5pm-5am (the watch died halfway through the night!)

As all these people responsible ignore our

questions, surely they can not ignore all of you. Just email them asking them respectfully and politely to

please answer the questions of the Horler family from 3 Cane Street Pannawonica. That's it, easy, while we will take care of the hard part. We find it difficult to ask for help, we have always been the ones to offer help, but this is important, this is

about standing up for our children, and if that's something you would do also, then please help us out and know that we would do the exact same thing for you, anyone that knows us already knows this.

Over that weekend both friends and strangers sent emails on our behalf which we greatly appreciated. While none of them received a response from any of the above Rio Tinto employees we did discover through this process that our personal emails had been blocked from their server.

So they blocked our emails to avoid having to face the harm they had caused, blocked and deleted comments on their social media pages and later ignored registered mail. This is how we ended up standing outside their building in Perth, waiting for them to own their mistakes and deal with them with the integrity, honesty and transparency that they preach.
